Hello, my name is Victor Omokehinde I am from Silver Spring, Maryland.
I want to start this by acknowledging that I wouldn't be where I am as a photographer if it wasn't for my brother. I grew up admiring his work, his photography captured life at its purest form. I wanted to be just like him, and that's what I set out to do.
I started out in high school taking pictures of nature and landscapes using my dad's old Canon camera. I never took my photography skills seriously until I showed my brother my work. He told me that I had the potential to be great, to keep working on my craft, and lastly to get outside of my comfort zone. Fast forward a couple of years to the end of my freshman year of college. I decided to invest in a Sony Alpha series camera. This investment changed my career as a photographer. I took my brother's advice and went outside of my comfort zone, I began to shoot portraits. I was so used to shooting nature shots and landscapes that this was a great challenge for me. However, with hard work and determination, I learned quickly and exceeded my own expectations.
My philosophy is simple, to capture the moment no matter how big or small it may be. I have gathered lots of praise for my unique photography and editing skills. With the support of my family and friends, I was able to bring my beloved hobby to life.
